- The factory is operating with modern technology to process groundfish, with three Baader filleting machines, trimming lines from Marel in Iceland and a Skaginn IQF freezer as well as four horizontal freezers. A new blast freezer was installed in April 2017.
- The raw material is fresh or sea frozen from the North Atlantic Ocean.
- At present Atlantic Cod (Gadus moruha) is being processed in the factory. The machines can handle fish from 1.0 to 8.0 kgs as H/G weight of raw material.
- The capacity of the factory is 22 to 30 tons of H/G raw material per 8 hours shift, depending on the size of the fish. The products are typically loins, portions and tails as well as fillets in the form of IQF frozen or IVP packed, as well as the different kind of blocks and mince products.
- We do employ between 95 and 120 people in the company, depending on seasonality
- The products are packed in different sizes of boxes for the various markets.
- The products are glazed to the different requirements from the customers and market places.
- In April 2017 new machinery was installed in the factory, enabling us to pack in vacuum, trays, skin pack, flow pack as well as MAP products.
